Mission Statement

What we aim to do...


Our Mission is to provide support and empower the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Community in a safe and welcoming environment in order to advance the quality of their lives. We also aim to raise awareness and challenge the discrimination and injustice in society supporting organisations to implement equality and inclusiveness policies.

Ethos

The underlying values of Dundalk Outcomers which guide our work and the way we deal with each other are:

  • People have the right to freedom from discrimination and injustice
  • All people should be treated with respect regardless of gender, sexual orientation, class, age, religion, ethnic origin, disability or membership of the Travelling Community
  • People have the right to work, education and social opportunities
  • People have the right to identify their own needs and to participate in work for change on their own behalf and on behalf of their community
